Kevin Clunie joins Maxcess as global vice president

Clunie, who brings more than 25 years of global leadership to the role, will serve in Product Strategy & Development.

Maxcess International, a global leader in automation for the web handling industry, announces the appointment of Kevin Clunie as global vice president, Product Strategy & Development, effective April 27, 2026.

Clunie brings more than 25 years of global leadership across product strategy, innovation, marketing, and commercial execution in industrial manufacturing and engineered materials. He has consistently built high-performing global teams and translated customer and market insights into differentiated offerings and profitable growth.

Most recently, he served as president of Appvion, guiding enterprise-wide commercial strategy, product management, marketing, and innovation.

Earlier in his career, Clunie held leadership roles at Avery Dennison, SABIC Innovative Plastics and REHAU, delivering portfolio scaling, accelerated innovation commercialization, and higher-value solutions across Europe and North America.

Clunie’s role

At Maxcess, Clunie will lead global product strategy, product management, marketing, and R&D. He will focus on identifying and using customer insights to drive long-term product plans, ensuring execution on new product development, and enhancing systems and processes to make it easy for customers to do business with the company.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he will also play a key role in advancing innovation and maintaining Maxcess’ competitive position globally.
